Bolt WB is the athletic and charismatic son of Afire Bey V, out the Medallion daughter CW Basquelle, who was a daughter of the great Bask mare Basquelle.   He was showing great promise for the English Division when, as fate would have it, a life threating multiple fracture of the P-2 bone in the hoof (a Barbaro type injury) denied him a performance career.   Sucessfull surgeries gave him a chance, and Bolt showed the heart, intellegience, and determination necessary to recover even while experiencing the expected laminitis in the off-leg.   We have found that he is passing these qualities on to his foals.

Bolt's babies are uniformly upright with thin necks coming up from the withers.   They set up on long straight legs with short canons and long pasterns as well as extremely people friendly, intellegient and quietly grasp training techniques.
